Information About Our Services

Spinal Manipulation

Spinal manipulation, a cornerstone of chiropractic care, involves applying controlled force to spinal joints with restricted movement or misalignment. This hands-on technique aims to restore proper alignment, reduce nerve irritation, and promote natural healing. Through gentle and precise adjustments, chiropractors help alleviate pain, improve mobility, and enhance overall well-being.

Spinal Decompression

Spinal decompression is a non-surgical therapy designed to alleviate pain and discomfort associated with spinal disc issues such as herniated discs, bulging discs, degenerative disc disease, and spinal stenosis. The treatment involves gently stretching the spine to create negative pressure within the discs, which helps to retract herniated or bulging discs, relieve pressure on spinal nerves, and promote the movement of water, oxygen, and other healing nutrients into the affected areas.

Heat Therapy

Heat therapy involves applying heat to specific areas of the body to increase blood flow, relax muscles, and alleviate pain and stiffness.  It can also improve flexibility and range of motion, allowing for more effective treatment outcomes.

Physical Therapy & Stretching

Physical therapy and stretching exercises are valuable tools in the chiropractic toolkit, allowing Dr. Kip Corbin to address the underlying causes of musculoskeletal dysfunction and empower patients to take an active role in their recovery and long-term wellness. By combining chiropractic adjustments with targeted exercises and stretches, he can help patients achieve optimal musculoskeletal health and function.

Electric Stimulation

Electrical stimulation is a therapeutic technique that uses electrical currents to stimulate nerves and muscles for various therapeutic purposes. It involves the application of electrodes to the skin, which deliver controlled electrical impulses to targeted areas of the body.

Cold Laser Therapy

Cold laser therapy, also known as low-level laser therapy (LLLT) or photo biomodulation therapy, is a non-invasive treatment modality that uses low-level laser or light-emitting diode (LED) technology to stimulate cellular function and promote tissue healing. Unlike surgical lasers that generate heat and cut or destroy tissue, cold laser therapy utilizes low-intensity light energy that does not produce heat and is therefore considered safe for use on the body's tissues.

Ultra Sound Therapy

Ultrasound therapy helps to treat various musculoskeletal conditions. It involves the use of high-frequency sound waves that are applied to the body through a handheld device known as an ultrasound transducer. The ultrasound transducer is then moved continuously or in a circular motion over the skin, emitting sound waves that penetrate the underlying tissues.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a therapeutic technique used to treat musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. It involves the insertion of thin needles, similar to acupuncture needles, into specific trigger points or tight bands of muscle tissue, without injecting any substances (hence the term "dry"). The goal of dry needling is to elicit a local twitch response in the muscle fibers, which is thought to help release tension and alleviate pain. This twitch response may also stimulate the body's natural healing processes, such as increased blood flow and the release of endorphins (natural pain-relieving chemicals).

Cox Techniques Decompression

Cox  techniques decompression, is a technique used to treat lower back pain, particularly disc-related issues such as herniated discs, bulging discs, and spinal stenosis. Developed by Dr. James Cox, this technique utilizes a specially designed chiropractic table that allows for controlled flexion and distraction of the spine.

Cupping

Cupping is a therapeutic technique that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. This suction is believed to mobilize blood flow, promote healing, and relieve muscle tension. Cups can be made of glass, bamboo, or silicone and are typically heated or placed with a vacuum pump to create suction.
